Frida Mania and the most simple and easy cake recipe from a very lazy baker of cake

For ART JOURNAL JOURNEY" FRIDA KAHLO" - I just altered an older
Mixed Media Page of mine in Photo Filtre Studio X

**ART*JOURNAL*JOURNEY*

And now for my new Tuesday passion !

♥♥♥Hello Elizabeth and all the dear bloggers from T-Stands for Tuesday!♥♥♥
This week  I want to share my most used recipe for
making a quick and easy cake. I use this with any sort of fruit the season offers me.
Or with pickled fruits also.
This time my dear neighbour gave me a basket full of cherries fresh from his cherry tree

1 cup sunflower oil, 2 cups sugar , 3 cups plain flour ( or all-purpose), 4 whole eggs,  1 package vanilla extract, 1 package baking powder (approx.3 teaspoon full) , optional a bit of soda or mineral water -all just good mixed with the hand mixer and filled in a  medium sized baking tray(covered with baking paper)garnished with your choice of fruit  - for about 35 minutes in the middle of the oven 180-190 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit)-circulating heat.
Meanwhile I replace 1/3 of the flour by cornstarch and it get's even fluffier.

1 Tasse Sonnenblumenöl, 2 Tassen Zucker, 3 Tassen Mehl, 4 ganze Eier , 1 Pkg Vanillezucker, 1 Pkg.

  10. I was just looking at a preview of a book written by Traci Bautista. Your leaves remind me of the ones she makes. Of course, she didn't have a lovely altered Frida page to go with her art! Yours is lovely. I'm always, always in awe of digital art.

So glad you chose to join us again for T this Tuesday. That cake sounds delicious and healthy with the sunflower oil.

I've never heard of Lord Nelson tea, but I would love to visit the Magical Forest (grin).

Thanks for sharing art, cake, and tea for T this Tuesday, Susi.

  16. fabulous Frida art Susi!! And your cherry cake looks so yummy-it reminds me of a French cake(clafoutis) I make although mine is a bit more custard-like, and the cherries don't get pitted so you have to spit them out as you bite into the cake-an OLD tradition. Good to see you for T day!
