Joan Miro and Trees

This page was inspired by Joan Miro. / Eine Miro inspirierte Seite.

Art Journal Journey

And I made a few christmas cards - I had fun painting the background with watercolors and salt and the trees with acrylics - the sentiment is stamped with an Artemio stamp.
Ein paar Weihnachtskarten hab ich gewerkelt - es hat mir Spaß gemacht den Hintergrund mit Wasserfarben und Salz zu ertellen und die Bäume mit Acrylfarben zu malen . Der Spruch ist von Artemio.

  4. Susi, we have TWO Miro's on the campus of Wichita State University. One is a HUGE mosaic that takes up an entire wall of the art building. The other is a statue. I will look for links and send them when I find them. This Miro inspired art is fantastic. Have I mentioned how sad I'll be when this month's challenge is over?

Your trees are great. You talked me into making one, too. Not a card, but I'm working on a page in my altered book as I type. Just waiting for the background to dry.

Both entries are wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.

and the mosaic 28' X 52' wall of stained glass:

I hope you'll visit there and see all the beautiful mostly sculptures they have. All the artists are listed on the left sidebar.
