The Soul always knows what to do to Heal it Self. The challenge is to silence the mind.
That's what I wrote on this page - (found on Pinterest).
The eyes were cut out from a magazine and glued down on the background made with watercolor.
The nose and mouth are drawn with pencil and watersoluble colored pencils.

It was nice  to nearly complete a face with just eyes given.

I am happy that I could use my homemade supplies
as there are a scratched foamplate, great to use as a tool
to make fab backgrounds and a hot-glue-stencil
this time used as a stamp.

Masculine / Feminine

in the end I messed her up with to much charcoal-
 ... but no matter...just a page!

  1. Another wonderful face - and I love that quote, Susi!

    Lieben Gruss Elke

Where do you get your sentiments and quotes?......they are always so awesome.

Thank you for the comments on all 3 SOC posts.....the girls are loving it.

  14. Great idea to use the magazine eyes and then paint round them, and good to see your own handmade stencil and stamp. I so admire the way you make such fascinating art every day.

  15. I like both versions of your page, the extra charcoal seems to frame the eyes beautifully.

  16. Golly, I like them both, Susi. But I think I prefer the first one best. I'm the type who usually quits far too soon, so the simpler entry was one I would be happy with.
