49 faces

I have a face again -
it's an experimental face in one of my journals .. and there is enough paper for me to do more faces -  Thank goodness ! It started as an all - shades - of - grey - value - study experiment ..but I was so unhappy with it that I just gave her some colours in pastel and called her done . I was at least equally frustrated with her as she looks like and I didn't want to show her .
But meanwhile I  think that it is good to show her - It's good to show  not so well succeeded faces as well - since it shows  that masters don't just fall from the sky. You fail often when you try out new things - but you should continue practicing .

 POOR GIRL!!! I call her

  1. Ecken und Kanten sind wichtig!
    Herzlich Pippa

  2. Das Gesicht ist schön, gefällt mir gut. Und die Journalseite ist toll, wie immer.Gut gemacht, Sweetie! Hugs, Valerie

  3. For once I'm not the last person to comment!!!!!! I love the skyscrapers and they are simply gorgeous.

I believe in showing my failures or what I personally think are failures, because it shows you are a real person when you do. Not everything you try will be a masterpiece, and I agree that sharing what you've made makes you try even harder next time. Having said that, I actually LIKE quirky Miss Happen!

  4. Love your architectural piece Susi - the textural elements are stunning. Hmmmm Miss Happen looks as though she may have had a stroke or head injury, perhaps??? Life is not always perfect.

  5. deine Journalseite ist sehr schön gestaltet fantasievoll und dein Gesicht ist ein hartes kantiges Gesicht geworden auch toll gezeichnet!
    Lieben Gruss Elke
