Autumn princess and FUN FOAM fun...

A princess for the AJJ theme "Inspired by autumn colours".
I had so much fun by creating a fun foam print plate a few days ago.

I scratched patterns on fun foam with the pointy end of an empty mechanical pencil  -
used those napkin left as an inspiration for my scratching.

using the scratched fun foam as a faux gelli print plate I got  lots of nice monoprints.

One of this prints  I used for the autumn princess collage.

  2. I swear, she looks like one of the European princesses or Consorts. She is a gem and it looks like you are nearly at the end of your 49 Faces challenge, too. This is truly cause for celebration.

  7. Stunning page with a very beautiful Princess. What a wonderful idea for the background Susi. It has inspired me for sure and I have several of the old pencils that have run out of lead. I wondered why I had kept them--now I know.

    Have a great day

  8. What a regal and beautiful princess she is. Right out of a fairy tale. And I love your print today. The effect looks like you used texture paste and carved into it. It is amazing how such basic (but not simple) design creates such a rich and beautiful background. I've got to try that. Hope its been a good day so far! :)
