COLLAGE - starting the new month at ART JOURNAL JOURNEY

A new month and a new theme over at ART JOURNAL JOURNEY. Valerie is our hostess in December and she chose COLLAGE as our topic . We hope that you will be with us again .  My first spread - and you certainly know that there will follow some more spreads and pages from me this month- is also meant for this week's meeting with my friends over at TSFT, where we meet every Tuesday with some drink related blogposts. Elizabeth and Bleubeard (sometimes even the shy Squiggles)  are hosting this for us every week and I am always pleased with this link party! As I drink a lot of tea I thought a collage with used teabags would be funny to start the

COLLAGE MONTH at

For this pages I  was inspired by a  Somerset Place - HOW TO .

The men's  heads are cut outs from an artist - encyclopaedia I recently purchased on our local fleamarket - on the top left  Gustav Mahler - the other both portraits show Auguste Rodin.
I used some old ephemera and stamps and indian ink, acrylics and oilpastels .

HAPPY TUESDAY!
HAPPY T - DAY!

Thank you for your visit and support dear friends!

And I have a quick face to share as well

  5. Great journal spread. It's good idea to use old book photos as material. I've just made a card using pictures of an old encycloaedia, but the quolity of pictures is not as good as yours. Havn't yet posted the card.

  18. Great journal pages! (I did recognize Gustav Mahler immediately, as he is one of my favorite composers). Good idea to use tea bags. I keep my tea bags for crafting too, but ours are round. I also dry and empty my coffee pads (for the Senseo) and they are round too. I have stamped a few with a white ink, but haven't done anything earth shattering with them yet.
    Thanks for visiting earlier,
    Have a great T-Day,
    Lisca
