Carolyn Dube's free online workshop - permission to play. It is a super workshop and you should watch her videos if you haven't done yet. She is a fabulous teacher - the best is that she always encourages you to just play and feel free - something we all should do as often as possible! I didn't use corrugated cardboard for my panels ,that's the stuff Carolyn uses - just free stuff - how cool - but the whole concept of playing and making a book in the end speaks to me - I made different panels out of recycled cardboard ( mainly cereal boxes ) - and will bind them in the end into a book like Carolyn shows in her videos. This is one of the panels - I did a lot of collage work in the background and continued with negative space painting - and I drew a very quick face as well ( with Stabilo Mark It All)... pure fun and playing - just great to do such relaxing things.
I am admittedly not so enthusiastic about my happy pear panel - but it was an awesome little relaxation exercise to get looser and allow myself just to play.
