No matter how long the winter - spring is sure to follow.

I hope your weekend went well!

There are still 6 days to join our

Art Journal Journey

I have drawn a great tit on bookpaper and glued it on my wintery background after cutting it out.

Happy new week to you all!

  1. Such a sweet birdie..and loved the quote! :)
    Suchi xx

  2. Beautiful JOURNAL PAGES; the bird is so pretty with the book paper background, and it is always a comfort in the dark days of winter to know it will not last for ever! Hugs, Valerie

  3. I had never heard of a tit until I started reading blogs of my European friends. We apparently don't get those here, but we DO get cardinals. Your bird is adorable and I like that you drew it on book paper. I think once you and Valerie finish your 99 faces, you two should do 99 birds! You both do birds so well, and yours turn out simply wonderful.

  4. Hallo Susi,
    Lg Sadie

  5. I always love to see this quote Susi and your bird is amazing

    Love Chrissie xx

  6. Looks fabulous!! Love how you drew that sweet little bird on book paper!! And the quote is wonderful again too!

  8. Love your birdie today. Mine are always kind of cartoon looking, but your could go into a guide book. Another great winter page! Happy new week:)

    Lieben Gruss Elke

  11. Sweet bird. Looks like the winter plumage of a little goldfinch, which we have here. Mostly green on the back with a dull yellow. We'll know spring is really coming when that yellow gets bright. xox

  12. Beautiful artwork Susi, love your bird - we are lucky to have a few of them regularly visit our feeders.
Have a lovely week........ Gill xx

  13. wow Susi, just gorgeous!! I love that saying, although around here, it doesn't even feel like winter has arrived yet. lol. hugs :)

  14. Dein Buchseiten - Vogel gefällt mir sehr gut! Tolle Idee, Susi.

    LG Gaby

  15. Your birds are always lovely, Susi. I like the way you have painted him gripping the branch with his little feet.

  16. This really is fabulous Susi! I adore your great tit! You have reminded me about seeing the children at Schonnbrun Palace feeding tits from their hands - you have very tame birds and squirrels in Austria! Hugs, Chrisx

Schade!
    LG Ulrike
