Some experimenting ...

It was an interesting experiment for me to paint a face with a mix of oilpastels and oilcolors -

I am quite pleased with her .

And another experiment to show
I  painted black gesso partially on newspaper.

oil- and softpastels

O.k. - I am not so excited about it,  but it was a fun project for me as well.

Still one week rest to participate in our "USE NEWSPAPER" theme over at

Moo Mania & more

since I painted a deer.

  6. Wow- you are really getting along with your 99 faces. I love the woman's face. She is gorgeous. I like the deer too-it gives it more of an abstract feel. Sorry to hear you got all that snow-oh no! Hopefully being March it will melt really fast, and the sun will come out and spring warmth will be back soon. Hugs! Erika

  22. Dein Öl-Experiment ist sehr gelungen Susi, sieht so schön locker skizziert aus. Gefällt mir sehr. Aber auch das Reh auf Zeitung ist klasse gemacht, mal was Anderes so auf schwarzem Grund.
