TUESDAY POST - filled to the brim!

Take a cuppa - this post is long!
Today I specially welcome my friends from TSFT

where Elizabeth invites you all to share a drink - related post.
I offer you a cup of my beloved Grain Coffee named
Caro coffee - a drink mostly meant for children,
in US it's called PERO .

Now,  for the exciting new theme for the month of February over at

Art Journal Journey

Inspired by Chris's example page I started  with
the fairytale " Little Red Riding Hood "
since it has a woodland setting,  even though I have no trees on my spread!
You know that her grandmother lived out in the wood....

Live your life in your own little fairytale  says my quote
(A Mixed Media spread in one of my Altered Books)
She is number 67 of 99 faces and the wolf is one of my favourite animals -
so I link to Moo Mania & More as well.

Over at
Try It On Tuesday
we start our new fortnightly theme today which is:

I came up with an Altered Book spread for this event as well

"Spend every day listening to what your muse is trying to tell you."
tells my handwritten text, adhered to the page in the same way as shown HERE.

Thank you for reading and watching all those today!
I really hope to meet you at all of the mentioned challenges!
We always appreciate your participation and are looking
forward to seeing with what you will come up!

  1. Both your creations are gorgeous Susi! Your fairytale collage looks amazing! I also loved the quote on second one! And I appreciate your long posts because I get to know u more! :)
    Suchi xx

  2. Fabulous work for both challenges, the themes are both great too. Have a lovely day, hugs, Valerie

  3. Ein sehr ausgewogener präsentabler Post! Susanne eben!
Einen schönen guten Morgen wünscht die Pippa

  4. Guten Morgen liebe Susi,
    beide Bilder gefallen mir sehr,
aber besonders Rotkäppchen hat es mir angetan,
    der Spruch passt perfekt dazu.
    Lg Sadie

  5. Lovely pages Susi - love Little Red Ridinghood, and your second page is one of my favoruite colours.

  6. Oh, so schön, liebe Susi!!

    Deine Erika

  7. Both spreads are wonderful Susi with such amazing ideas.

    Happy March to you

    Love Chrissie xx

  8. Oh Susi! Red Riding Hood is so beautiful - I love the wolf looking at her too! Your spread for TIOT is fabulous, great quote! Enjoy your coffee - Happy T day! Hugs, Chrisx

  9. I love, love, love Little Red Riding Hood and your spread for TIOT is beautiful.
    xxx Hazel.

  10. Hello Susi! I like your advice on both pieces and of course your artwork is sublime, as always, with your textured backgrounds and use of colour. I love how you have made the AJJ piece without showing the actual wood, but it is there, somewhere, and love the way you have drawn the wolf, he doesn't look very friendly.

  12. You have been busy! I love Little Red Riding Hood for AJJ. Can't wait to get in and play with the new theme. And beautiful frilly and feminine at TIOT. Hope you don't get a lot of snow- we have heavy rains coming in our little mini heat wave before it gets cold at the end of the week. Stay warm! Hugs.

  13. Yay double eye candy! By the way, that's the most glamorous little red riding hood I've ever seen ;)
    Donna xxx

  14. You always make such lovely art, Susi. The wolf is nearly hidden in the background (possibly hidden in the woods) and I had to look twice at him, since your Little Red Riding Hood was so very prominent. The feminine theme at TioT was wonderful, too. It shows your diversity.

But of course I came to share a cup of Pero with you. Looked it up and learned it is made in Germany. No caffeine is perfect for you, but I'll have my coffee fully loaded (grin). Thanks for sharing your great art and grain coffee with us for T this Tuesday. I really enjoyed this lovely post.

  15. Beautiful art for both challenges--the wolf is great! I like how you left in the drawing lines--gave lots of interest.

I'll stick to my tea, but good to know about the Pero!

  16. Beautiful work Susi! I really love how you pieced together the red hood in your first work, so very creative! hugs :)

  17. Your coffee looks delicious, time for a cuppa myself. Love your Red Riding Hood piece, your feminine pages are nice as well!

  18. beautiful creations Susi! The new theme at AJJ is going to be so fun! Sharing my cuppa with you while visiting. Have a great day !

  19. Both journal spreads look fabulous Susi, the words you chose to go with them both are lovely.
    Yvonne xx

  20. Lots of wonderful eye candy here today Susi! Love them all ♥ Your art is always so pleasing to the senses.

  21. WOW! I LOVE your Little Red Riding hood page and the sentiment.
    Happy T-day

LG Ulrike

  24. Both your new art works are super. You can draw so well and you have unique style.
    Have a happuy evening ♥

  25. Wieder so unglaublich schön. Dein Rotkäppchen ist wunderbar, aber auch das schöne skizzierte Buch.
    Einzigartig schön.
    Liebe Grüße

  26. Fabulous pages Susi! The first one is totally wonderful, and your TIOT piece is super feminine and a great choice.
    Mar xx

  27. Such a fun page! love your way of creating her hood.

  28. Just gorgeous work, Susi. I just some links to share some of the beautiful art from Creative Carte Blanche on my blog. Yours is one of the links I listed. I really do like your style and your faces. :) That is my next big challenge for myself ...working on faces. You inspire me.

  29. Love both your spreads Susi, but my fav is Rotkäppchen! Hugs!

  30. Love both your spreads Susi, but my fav is Rotkäppchen! Hugs!

  31. Such lovely art...REd Riding Hood seems a bit seductive! Happy T day!

  32. These are both beautiful! You are so talented!
    Happy T-Day! :)

  33. I love viewing your art! I think Red Riding Hood is such a fab idea for the In the Woods theme.... and love your wolf and sentiment you added. Your 2nd page is sooo pretty, love the ladies and the way you added the sentiment down the page.

  34. Lots of interest in today's post Susi.
Love your Red Riding Hood and the altered book pages are gorgeous. Love the quote too.
    Avril xx

  35. Susi, your pieces today are just beautiful!!
I love your altered book and adore lil Red!!
You inspire me so dear friend! xoxo

  36. Susi....Will I ever get to where I can do this like you??? I doubt it in my lifetime. I really love your altered book pages. The purple and the ladies are so beautiful and your girl in the red cap is so clever. I really do need to listen to my muse. Everything that could go wrong went wrong today...I just should have gone up to my art desk and started anything that came to mind. Love your post today. genie
