Art Journal Journey - Moo Mania & More

We start a new theme - MASCULINE - over at
 MOO MANIA & MORE

And of course I came up with a masculine face.

  FACE No. 101

I used my Pentel Brush, the Stabilo Mark It All and a waterbrush for this portrait on (24 x 17 cm) 9,5 x 6,7 inches watercolorpaper.

At ART JOURNAL JOURNEY
we start  our  new theme for June  today,
we have a special  hostess this month - the super talented artist

and she has chosen

MAPS

as our topic for this month since she

loves to create mixed-media layered with maps

As a starter to this month's theme I put the portrait digital on an old free map of New York to fit the topic.

I hope to see you at the Challenge Blogs!
Always great to visit the blogs of the participants and see all the different styles and art
they all come up with! That's always inspiring for me and I enjoy it very much!

Happy Day!

  4. Goodness, Susi. You just keep making these wonderful faces, and the man is wonderful. I especially like how you show the tools you used to create him. I really like the shading.

That was a great way to incorporate both of these challenges. I like that you used New York, too. Both are incredible.

Hope you are having a great day.
