With the age there comes the patience....

At  ART JOURNAL JOURNEY
our hostess this month is the lovely Yvonne!
She has chosen a wonderful theme ....
IN MY GARDEN THERE IS

That's a super theme for me as I love flowers and birds so much -  I had much fun creating this pages - I hope you like them as well. I started with flower patterns on tissue paper - used a thin permanent marker for it...

and those I cut out and glued to my background - I would never have the courage to draw such flowers directly on my pages... don't ask why.... but that's the fact.

The words / text I found in a kitchen catalogue - I was amazed that the text in this german kitchen catalogue was bilingual (german / english) never noticed something like that before in an austrian catalogue....

I am amazed at myself,   I doodled flowers.. stunning.....normally I am not a doodler...never!

With the age there comes the patience I think!

I am very happy with the new theme at AJJ and  hope to come up with much more
pages this month ... I made many photos in my garden to get some inspiration....
At the moment I am so happy with my  irises -- I planted them this year for the first time and thought they would not bloom - since in all the neighbour's gardens they bloomed already... but now they are finally here... gorgeous.

 Happy new week dear friends!
Hope it will be a happy week for us all!

LG Ulrike
...blaue Iris - ich liebe sie!

  22. Lovely flowers--doodled and grown!
Clever idea to kind of cut and paste. I get scared to do things directly in my journal, too. Smart idea! :)

  23. Beautiful floral shots, but your doodling cut and pasted into your journal are awesome. The idea of cutting them out is so creative. I love that idea. I doodle all the time. There is something very calming about it...and I am always surprised at what I see as I begin to really get into the piece. Hope you are having a nice week. genie

  25. Your doodled flower pages are brilliant and oh so pretty liebe Susi ♥
I like the tissue paper technique too.
It is much more relaxing than working right on the page.
Beautiful blooms in your neck of the woods.
