Book Pages

A new theme at
+++++Book Pages +++++
is awaiting you and the whole DT is looking forward to seeing your ideas for the challenge!

A nice theme for me as I always like to play in my Altered Books and have much of the torn out pages left . To hold my Altered Books flat I often tear out pages in-between.

So I have collected enough from this book pages to  use them in my art .

That's the freedom Mixed Media gives you - you are allowed to use everything!!

I have a Mixed Media spread to share in one of my Altered Books -
I will link this spread to Art Journal Journey
"Nature's Wonders"
as well.

With my friends at
I want to share a kind of "Mixed Media" breakfast. I often use what I have on hand in my kitchen for a breakfast for me ... my family likes to eat a sweet breakfast - but I can eat nearly everthing for breakfast. As hubby brought fresh chanterelles and porcini from the forest I decided to make an omelette for me filled with fried mushrooms and onions ...yummie -
fresh black decaf to it --- this is how a day starts fabulous in my mind!!!

Happy T-Day - happy TioT and happy AJJ!

  1. Wonderful journal pages for TIOT and AJJ, so colourful. Your breakfast looks good, but I would like my coffee a bit stronger, please, with milk foam and not decaffeinated! Hugs, Valerie

  9. May I join you for breakfast, please? It all looks so delicious.

Your take on book pages made me smile. I love how you used extra pages to create your darling bird and leafy branch it sits on. It's a fantastic way to represent book pages.

Thanks for sharing your art and your omelet and decaf with us for T this Tuesday.

My mutti adored Chanterelle mushrooms sauteed in butter.
You incorported book text so beautifully in your colorful birdie pages (the tree branch is super too!) liebe Susi!
I am trying to reduce the size of my book collection here.
I have a weakness for dictionaries and old books and have to always look the other way when I seem in shops now ;-)
