Layer It Up .....

LAYER IT UP .... is  our new theme at TRY IT ON TUESDAY

Try It On Tuesday

and I came up with a collaged spread in  my very  voluminous Altered Book. It's thick enough so that  I was able to cut a niche for my found poppy capsule. I had fun by gluing layers of scraps and cheesecloth. It needed long to dry. Some collaged images of poppy capsules were  added as well.

For TSFT  I want to offer fresh baked  poppy seed roll

 and a cup of
coffee-
in my case a cup of
black decaf.

Happy T-DAY, TIOT, and AJJ
(where we have the
No Faces, No Wings, No leaves - BUT COLLAGE
theme)
Thank you for your visit - I always appreciate your comments!

  11. Before I read your post I thought your page was filled with hot air balloons - ooops sorry Susi - I see they are poppies :)
What a clever idea to cut that niche - wonderful textures - I love this!
The rolls and coffee look very nice and making feel very hungry now as I haven't yet had lunch. Have you any left or eaten them all? :)

  12. I have never seen a real poppy head before, but the niche and one you created is splendid. What a great way to honor all these challenges (MM&M, TioT, and AJJ) while enjoying a cup of decaf and a bit of poppy seed bread. It's been a long time since I've made poppy seed bread, it brought back wonderful memories.

Thanks for sharing your incredible art and your coffee and bread with us for T this Tuesday. Please make mine with caffeine, though.
