T- Stands for Collage with coffee and used baking paper

The slightly burned baking paper and the rest of my decaf in the mug were used to experiment on a collaged spread.

The coffee made those excellent drops.

The burnt edges of the baking paper were great to use as collage paper.

So this collaged spread in one of my Altered Books came into life.

with a little insert tag.

and a feather on  front of the tag.
I used different media like pastels, charcoal, Modge Podge,
on tissue stamped rubber stamp motifs, corrugated cardbord, washi tape and white gesso.

Of course meant for the
No Faces, No Wings, No leaves

  17. Oh Susi, this is beyond anything! Who would have thought of using the burnt baking paper to made a fabulous collage like this? I've often seen some paper burning in the fire and thought it looked good, but by then it's too late.
The arches, the key and the old feather together with the antique-like colours give a terrific atmosphere.
    Top class.

  18. Fantastic pages Susi and a great way to use the dried burnt paper. I often use the dregs [left overs] from my husbands coffee to shade papers in the craft room.
