My blogfriends Valerie  and Elizabeth showed

This led me to a spread in one of my Altered Books.

We always should remember the Holocaust and pay tribute to
its victims.
I will link this spread to the current That's Crafty Challenge and to Erika's
theme over at

Art Journal Journey

  1. This is an incredible tribute to the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. You showed your support in a fantastic way, and I am so, so, so thrilled you shared this beautiful spread about the Holocaust. Thank you, dear Susi. Just what I was hoping for. We need to keep these people in our hearts AND our conversations so their deaths truly mean something, even 72 years later.

  2. A beautiful spread, it is good to see lots of people remembering. Valerie

  3. Beautiful tribute pages Susi

    Love Chrissie xx

    Lieben Gruss Elke

  5. Liebe Susi,
Ich hoffe, dass sich das in den
    Köpfen der Menschen festsetzt.
    Das Bild ist super geworden.
    Lg und einen sonnigen Tag.

  6. This is a marvelous page Susi. I like how you used the black blocks towards the middle, and those wonderful faces. So many tragic endings. This i maybe a story too big to tell on a journal page, but it is good you told this piece. Thanks Susi. Hugs-Erika

  7. Beautiful pages to remember such dreadful times.
    Yvonne xx

  8. beautiful journal spread and tribute Susi.

  9. Wonderful spread, Susi and a timely reminder given the present circumstances in the world.

  10. Wunderschön gestaltete Seiten zu diesem traurigen Kapitel unserer Geschichte. Wir sollten niemals vergessen was möglich war, damit es nie mehr passiert.
    Liebe Grüße und schönen Sonntag.

  11. Wonderful - I did not even know there was such a day but I am glad to know about it now. For those of us who have visited Auschwitz and Dachau, I think the memory lives with me all the time. Your spread is simple and effective Susi.
