Post No. 2187 - Do It Your Way

I chose three different acrylic colours today for my spread meant for Yvonne's
Colours In My World
 over at
ART JOURNAL JOURNEY

4 images of an advertising magazine were used.

I used Stabilo All in Black for the words and some oilpastels for scribbles on and around the photos and two different stamps to get some interesting marks. Black and white for shading and enhancing the other colours.

Colours In My World.

  1. What a fabulous way to use magazine images and make them your own. I was really impressed with not only the painting, but the way you stamped the images in just the perfect spots, too. I need to try something like this and make my images more "artistic." Again, I am in awe and totally INSPIRED!!!

  7. Great spread! I like how you used the magazine faces. It nice to see you switch it up a bit, even though your other pages were super also! Still hot here. Oh please, let some fall weather arrive soon. Hugs-Erika
