Post No.2181*** MY FRIEND

At TIOT we are starting a new theme today which is
My friend - human or animal or imaginary.

I recently got a postcard booklet from the  late nineties with very cute photos of kids.

I took two of the nice postcards and fussy cut the images out to use them on my Altered Book spread
that I will also link to " Colours In My World", Yvonne's lovely September theme over at

  3. I am in love with the postcard images you used on this fabulous journal spread Susi, they are really special to see. You can see how the little boy loves his dog.
Your drink looks refreshing. In the UK I think our version is labelled, Elder flower, but it is the same plant.
    Happy Tea day wishes Susi.

  10. You have certainly put those postcards to good use. Your two spreads are truly gorgeous and I really like the way you blended the postcards with the background. I'd love to know your secret. Mine never look blended well like that.

I really LOVED how the packaging of the tea you chose looked so similar to the tea and pot you made it in. It's a lovely golden color and a beautiful setting. Thanks for sharing your fabulous art and your striking tea and teapot with us for T this Tuesday. I hope it was as good as it looked.

  11. Those puppies are my kind of friend. You can never get one more loyal than a dog. And those puppies are pretty cute! I've never heard of elder blossom tea. It has a great color. I wonder if it would tea stain that color or would lighter. Happy T day Susi. Hugs-Erika

  14. Your pages are perfect! I love the way you have incorporated the postcard images and as always the amazing way you include the washi tape into your designs 😁. The colours look so fresh and cheery and I would happily find a friend in one of those puppies! I have fond memories of my best friend growing up, our golden Labrador Retriever called Lady. She bought much happiness into my life and I'd happily share stories about her, whilst sharing a cup of that delicious Elder Blossom tea with you. Thanks for the memories and wishing you a Happy T Day dear Susi! J 😊

  35. Guten Morgen, liebe Susi!

  37. What wonderful imagery, Susi - and I love how you've used them in your spread! It takes me right back to my childhood, playing Cowboys and Indians. I may be still a bit resentful that I had to play the rescued Indian Maiden, though. :D

  38. Liebe Susi,
