Post No.2224 Cats love warmth and this and that on Tuesday

Put A Stencil On It is still the challenge theme at Moo Mania & More - on Wednesday our new theme will go online. I have made a stencil or rather a template for drawing a cat's head - I tried to make a little tutorial for myself in one of my journals.

That's for you Mr. Bleubeard - even though you are photo shy and we will never get a good reference photo of you !  As you see in the first image I drink a lot while drawing- you draw much better when you drink whilst drawing!!!
Decaf and water in this case!

Even though this cat in my journal  has no very soft and cuddly fur and the colours are more cold - but it stands for cuddling your pet to get warm! So it will be linked to
Chris' theme for November over at
And please don't forget our
COLOURFUL challenge over at
Try It On Tuesday!

Hope all of you are well - my beverage of choice as so often black decaf and some still mineral water!

Sei so lieb und bediene Dich des Übersetzungstools rechts oben in der Seitenleiste für die deutsche Übersetzung! DANKE ! ♥♥♥

  1. That's a really smart way to practice cat face drawing. I like how you think. That inspires me too since I could use some dog face drawing practice. I never quite get them right. And you are having a smart drink. Your tea cup is pretty too. I love a nice ceramic mug. Hope you have a great day. Hugs- Erika

  3. I enjoyed this-and lovely to see Bleubeard
    Happy T Day hugs Kathy

  4. oh what a sweet kitty! Love your practice drawings too. I'm sure Bleubeard is much appreciative of your kitty. Happy T day!

  5. So interesting to see how you worked out your drawing of a cat. I like the "behind the scenes" of artworks.

  6. Wow, thanks for showing how to draw your pretty cat - amazing! I love the background you created with the swirls too and you made each step look so easy to draw a cat this way, that I'm off to give it a try ...lol 😉. But before I have my drawing fun 😁, I'd like to say thanks so much for sharing and wish you the happiest of T Days dear Susi! J 😊

  7. Really nice concept and good of you to share.

  8. Herrlich! Das ist eine tolle Idee für einen Journaleintrag und gefällt mir sehr gut, liebe Susi. Miau sagt Cosmo und lässt schön grüßen. :)
    Herzliche Grüße

  9. Aaawww love your kitty! Jinx is always more friendly in the winter....Summer he stays more to himself... Happy happy T day! Hugs! deb

  10. I'm hopeless as far as drawing goes lol, but I am struck by the design on your mug. I'd have caffeine ;) Happy T Tuesday

  11. Thanks for teaching me how to draw a cat! I will have a go at that.
    Happy T-Day,

  12. Großartig, liebe Susi

    MMM freut sich auch

  13. Three challenges and honoring Bleubeard, too. Made him swell with pride when I told him about it. I love how you practiced the cat faces, and how lovely your faux Bleubeard looked in the end. He's a handsome dude.

I don't drink as much water as I should, so I applaud you for drinking both decaf and water. Thanks for sharing this beautiful AJJ and T post with us for T this Tuesday. Of course, I can't forget the TioT, too. Simply a fabulous spread and just an honor for the "big boy."

  14. That's a darling page, Susi. Such a clever concept. I refer to the human face diagrams over and over as I try to learn. It would be cool to make reference journal spread like that for myself. Love it. I made me think of DaVinci's drawing of the human form.

"you draw much better when you drink" lol

    Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

  15. Very clever tutorial and the finished cat looks just lovely!

  16. Thank you for sharing how your fantastic cat drawing came to life.
You make it look so achievable with the step by step illustrations.
Maybe I will take up a pencil and give it a try, I cannot draw a straight line most days.
    Happy T day wishes.
    Yvonne xx

    liebe grüße

  23. What a wonderful cat - and thanks for showing us your steps too. A wonderful spread Susi - and it's good to be back and visiting you.

haha - you draw much better when you drink whilst drawing - ich will mir das zu Herzen nehmen ...
    Sei lieb gegrüßt! Rike

  26. Oh Susi! I am trying to catch up with visits, I have been preparing for a trip across country to attend a funeral! Your cat is certainly handsome and it's good to see how you started the process of drawing! It may look cold with your choice of colours but how I would love to cuddle a cat again! Hugs, Chrisx

  27. A great drawing of the cat Susi and nice to see how you achieved the wonderful face. Yes, cats are perfect for cuddling.
