  10. OK, I'm officially impressed. Not only did you create the most beautiful poinsettia I've seen drawn, you did it while planning to make those Christmas Vanillekipferl. Do you dip your ends in chocolate, or serve them plain?

Thanks for sharing this gorgeous plant with us for AJJ and thanks for sharing your coffee and water at T this Tuesday.

  16. Nice! I love your poinsettia. They must be a very universal holiday plant which I didn't know. And I made some of those cookies that your husband loves. I think I am in his camp because they are very yummy. :) If you don't get to bake I hope you have a good art day though. Maybe some more poinsettias? Happy T day. Hugs-Erika

  17. Lovely art. I've been wondering about those pencils. I was given a set of Derwent colored pencils but they aren't "inktense" and I really haven't had great success with them. Maybe I'll try them agaiin.

  22. The way you are using these pencils is marvellous. It's a lovely drawing of a poinsettia and now I see you are using a water-brush - aha! must try this, thanks for the tip.
I love the pink mug too, it's just the right shade of pink.

  25. I love your poinsettia painting and how you are able to represent things with just a few lines. That's a skill I don't have - yet ;-) - but I'm working on it. You do it beautifully.

    happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

  26. It is hard trying to find the time to fit in everything you want to do - including cooking. I love your art work Susi and if you don't mind, I am going to print this out and try copying it. It will be for my own personal use in trying to learn drawing and using water color. Please say yes as I would not do it without your permission.
I have not been on my blog lately as I seem to be caught up with other things among which is taking lessons in using colored pencils. It takes a lot of time when you are learning new techniques and practicing. Although I do not follow many people anymore, I love what you do so much and will always be watching.
    Merry Christmas!!
    Sandy xx

    wundervoll Adventszeit
    und sende lebkuchensüße Grüße, Heidrun

  29. Gorgeous poinsettia Susi!
May I ask, do you color on your paper first then add water, or water first? I have tried each way and sometimes I just take color right from my pencil to waterbrush to paper. Just checking to see what your stye is as well.
and I will be doing some baking this week as well, need to get cookies out to my sons! ")
