You can take some of the Kipferl if you like - decaf as always for me .....
don't panic - the dogs drank just their water as always.
I didn't find much time for art but I made a very quick spread for Sheila's theme at
I am always thrilled to find tutorials on YouTube for all I want to know or I want to learn about.
There are for example piles of tutorials on learning to sketch, draw and paint hands - it's amazing.
I decided to take time to learn more about sketching and drawing next year, but there is always so much I want to learn - oh my gosh !
a BEAUTIFUL and Happy Post, the cookies look yummy and the doggies are cute.xx[aNNie]🎄⛄
ReplyDeleteOH how busy your dogs were - supervising your baking!! What a lovely group of cards you have received Susi. Loving your spread, and don't we always want to learn more but seldom have the time...

It always feels nice when you receive Christmas cards and gifts. Especially if someone has made it themselves! They look fabulous! Just like your kipferl. I have never eaten it, but it looks very tasty and your dogs seem to like them! Ha,ha... I know what you mean, i also want to learn and do so much and so little time.... i like your spread a lot, love the hands you have practiced! That one left at the bottom of the page most! Merry Christmas to you and your family Susi! Cheers!!!
ReplyDeleteMaja.

Merry Christmas Susi, the dogs are so cute-looking into the oven I am sure they smell all the goodies.
ReplyDeleteI love You Tube too I taught myself the basic of hand spinning on there among many other things
Happy T Day Kathy
I had to laugh at your dogs and the cookies. Mine think I am baking cookies just for them also. :) And what a gorgeous collection of cards. You are truly blessed to have so many wonderful blog friends. And your journal page really gave you a great chance to practice your hand drawing. I like the one with the wine glass a lot. :) Perfect for a little holiday cheer. Hope you have a happy T day. Hugs-Erika

ReplyDeletedas glaub ich dir sehr gerne, dass du dich über
solche Post freust ;-)

und alles gelingt dir ;-)
Ich nehme bitte ein Kipferl.
Lg und noch einen schönen Tag.

What lovely cards you have received. Love your digi collage with the dogs-I wonder if any cookies dropped for them? :) Yes, You Tube is so wonderful for learning anything! You did a great job sketching the hands in different positions- that can't be as easy as you have made it look. Happy T day to you and all the best for a Merry Christmas too!
Hhm, lecker Kipferl!
Liebe Grüße Ulrike, 'nur' mit Prellung
Susi, it was good to see your friendly dogs in the photos. Our animals seem to love being around the kitchen, especially when there is cooking, and delicious things baking in the oven. Your photos made me smile today and bring me happy memories.
ReplyDeleteYour journal pages look fantastic, I think we would all like a bit more time to learn more about our art and watch You Tube films.
Happy T day and Holiday wishes.

Ah! Merry Christmas to you as well dear Susi!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful post filled with wonderful gifts and cards from special friends and those beautiful dogs of yours- I just love their sweet faces!
Cookies- yummy for sure! Mine are done as well, can't get them out of here fast enough-before I add anymore weight on my hips! heehee
And I must tell you, not only do I love the hands studies you have been creating, but I LOVE your thirst for more knowledge! I think it is awesome and so inspiring the way you visit , practice and learn from YouTube! You really do make me want to do less of other things and more watching myself! heehee
Merry Christmas dear friend! May the holidays bring you and your family mush joy, heath and all good things! Say a special hello to your brother when you visit!
love to you,Jackie
Liebe Susi
What a great blog post, Susi. I think I can smell those cookies. Especially love your kitchen helpers!
ReplyDeleteYour artwork is just beautiful! I predict you will be doing your own YouTube videos someday soon!
Kind regards, Chris
I googled kipferl, and now I'm more interested than ever :) Looks tasty! Happy T Tuesday
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful cards and gifts you received. Most impressive and couldn't happen to a nicer person.
ReplyDeleteI loved the mosaic you created with the dogs enjoying their time in the kitchen with you. They are so healthy and I can tell they are loved. Those cookies look good, too. Maybe you could fax me a couple (GRIN).
I adore the combined Art Journal Journey and T hand drawing. It looked like a YouTube video, too. I am finally able to view YouTube, but haven't found anything there I actually haven't already tried. But I don't draw, so I'm sure your great drawing skills will be enhanced by hand videos. Right now, I would say you are doing a super job and have that lesson down pat.
Thanks for sharing your Christmas cards, your cookies, the dogs, and your art journal with us at both Art Journal Journey and T this Tuesday. It's a fabulous post.
How nice to celebrate Youtube - such a wonderful resource for just about anything. The fingers behind and round the glass - that's very skillful.
ReplyDeleteWe are having a good time celebrating this month, yes!
Happy week before Christmas.
Hallo Susi, uih, da hast Du Dich bestimmt gefreut über die wunderschönen Weihnachtskarten. Toll, freu mich für Dich.

What a lovely post, Susi - presents and cards from friends, two very ell behaved dogs, scrumptious looking cookies and some fun sketching. You did very well with the hands. Hands are difficult to draw. They're so complex. Boy can I relate to wanting to do/learn so many artsy things!
