2275 ♣ Moo Mania & More No. 162

HAPPY EASTER

HAPPY EASTER

is our new theme over at
Moo Mania & More.
I came up with a quick spread in my blue Junk Journal using some recycled images out of an advertising flyer. The background was cheesecloth over a green patterned paper and some white gesso - patiently waiting in the blue journal for good use over a long time.
I sewed a bit on my sewing machine and left the loose ends of  the  threads to show movement.

And of course I will link this spread to our
SPRING
theme over at ART JOURNAL JOURNEY.

We have so much fun with Rosie's theme  at Art Journal Journey, so thanks for joining in!
And for those of you who were new to AJJ, it was wonderful to meet you!
♥♥♥

  7. I am not sure which I like more, the broken eggshells or the journal spread. Both show great incentive. I was really impressed with the sewing and agree that leaving the threads long shows movement. I also am thrilled to see anything recycled, and your beautiful spread clearly shouts that! So glad you shared it with Art Journal Journey and of course, I love it when you can create twofers.

Very fun!!!!hey say more snow here tonight-but they keep changing the amounts so who knows? I hope it is zero new snow. Oh this March. When does it end? Not soon enough I think. 12. Das Foto mit den Eierschalen ist bereits ein Kunstwerk für sich!
Aber du hast das noch getoppt mit der Journalseite und dem dünnen Stoff mit den genähten Linien! Und diese Dotterspritzer sind wirklich genial!

  19. Fabulous Easter pages, I do like how you add sewing and leave the threads. Great layers and you found super details to add.
I thought about soft boiled eggs and buttered toast fingers [we call them toast soldiers here] as soon as I saw the eggs.

  20. I love the stitching and the loose threads. The gauze and paint drips are so pretty against the white. It makes them really pop! A lovely page, Susi.
