2278 No winter lasts forever....

I really hope that finally spring arrives and brings warmer days.
I found a lovely quote of comfort last week and I found some hibernated leaves at one of my dog walks and so this spread came into being.

“No winter lasts forever; no spring skips its turn.”

I’m pleased to be able to join the following challenges today:

Elizabeth's TSFT ...with my required decaf.
Happy T-Day to the lovely Gals!

and Rosie's  current Spring theme.
And for my  TMTA - ATC
I went digital this time .
VERTRÄUMT /DREAMY is Dani's theme of the week.

Thank you  for joining me today! If you have any questions  I would love to answer them, so don't hesitate to ask.

LOVE

Susi

  5. A super study page Susi holding those dear leaves with so much detail within. I believe we are all feeling much the same at the moment, we were teased with two days of sunshine, now the dark grey skies and rain start the day. Think I too need a coffee before my day begins.
    Happy T Day..
    Creative wishes Tracey xx

  7. Deine Collage ist super geworden, die goldenen Akzente gefallen mir sehr gut und der Spruch auch. Mir wäre aber lieber der Winter wäre kürzer, etwa die Länge der Weihnachtsferien ;)

  19. As always, I am impressed with your Art Journal Journey entry. I am so sorry I am late visiting. I fell asleep and when I woke, I realized I still had things to do before my friend arrives this morning from TN to spend time with me. I loved how you added a bit of sewing. I haven't had time to do much sewing and I miss it a LOT. It adds such a great dimension to the page, and yours is fabulous. Let's hope that saying is true and we don't go directly from winter to summer in one quick move. I would take spring and autumn forever, if I could and skip winter and summer.

I am so glad you chose to share your decaf along with your Art Journal Journey entry with us for T this Tuesday.

  22. Hi Susi, I found out about this method from our Carol Samsel it is really amazing how well it works-and they are already harden off ready to plant-best method I have found yet here is one http://www.agardenforthehouse.com/2010/12/winter-sowing-101/ this is winter gardening you just need to know your seeds on when to plant-after no longer freezing at night can plant the more tender seeds-tomatoes etc

  23. This is a lovely natural piece, Susi, reflecting both Winter and the hope of Spring. As I love all seasons your quote is very reassuring. I liked seeing it next to your teacup on your desk as it made it more "real" somehow.
Happy April when it comes (soon).

  34. Beautiful spread Susi! those leaves are a lucky find still in tact! Oh I sure do hope your quote is correct- it has turned gloomy and miserable here again! We get teased by two or three days of sun then rain and now it is to turn back to snow by this Easter!
Wishing you and your dear family Easter blessings !

And I do love your digi for Wen- perfect neutrals!

  37. I love the spread with the leaves, Susi. It looks like you arranged string over the p age and them spread gel medium or something to glue it down. Very nice effect. It makes me think of the veins in the leaves. Lovely quote too.

I was VERY late to T this week and am glad to see you're still at the party - lol.

    Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

  42. I love your journal page Susi! And I have to say that I found the same comforting quote a while ago and put it on my blog's side bar. This year it takes sooooo long that it almost feels like the spring has skipped its return :) Bad joke, I take my words back!
