2309 Inspired by planting

I did a lot of planting and weeding in the garden recently and hubby finally built me a long wanted raised bed in the garden that just makes me happy.

So no wonder my art journal spread in the blue journal is inspired by all that planting -lol.

Plant seeds of hope and watch miracles grow.

And of course it is meant for Art Journal Journey where the lovely Gill hosts >>>INSPIRED BY<<< this June. I am thrilled by all the wonderful pages that are already linked to this theme's collection. You still have plenty of time to take part in our challenge and we would be thrilled to see you over at

MUCH
LOVE

  2. Oh lucky you Susi - the raised bed that inspired your beautiful page is wonderful - what a clever hubby you have.
I wonder what lovely things you have planted there - flowers, herbs or veg maybe .. I tried zooming in but couldn't see what they are :)
Your journal spread is really beautiful, I love the colours and the quote, the pots are fabulous - although I am a little worried about the first plant as it is bending over slightly - maybe the heat has got to it or it needs a little water :)
Happy gardening - hope the weeding is soon done.
Have a nice evening dear Susi.

  3. Wonderful inspiration, Susi - I've been going to journal my plants lately, too - it's that time of year and I love it. Love your raised bed... but as Gibby points out, that first plant is looking a little iffy, lol... they look wonderful. Great pots, great plants and lovely spread.

  9. Hi Susi, I love that you dedicated a whole journal layout to your gardening project. The pots are so pretty and colorful.
Your raised beds are beautiful and appear to be the perfect height for sparing one back pain. My hubby made me beds as well but mine are only one board high so I still have to do squats to garden. Enjoy your new planters! You will have to share the names of what you planted.

  21. My sincere apologies for the late visit, Susi. I had an internet meltdown that required a reboot from my carrier and a service repair person who actually had to come out and perform his magic.

You are SO lucky to get that new raised bed. I've wanted one of those since forever, and this is simply wonderful. No wonder it inspired your latest AJJ entry.

As always, your beautiful journal spread was so inspiring. I loved the soft, fluid colors you chose and the background that was simply out of this world. It is fabulous and such a great entry for Art Journal Journey, dear co-admin and friend.
