INSPIRED BY: Things with wings ( 2311)

I am very pleased that we have the biggest number of sparrows in our garden that we've ever, ever had. I think we provided the ideal conditions for the sparrows, filling the garden with their cheerful chatter, and all those babies this year! So many I could never count them.

7" x 9"1/2 / =18 x 24 cm,  Fabriano watercolour paper 140 lbs 300g/m²

I tried a kind of wash and line watercolour painting with my Neocolore II watercolour crayons. It was made for our new theme over at
Try It On Tuesday where we start
"THINGS WITH WINGS" .
Hop over to our challenge blog to see all the inspiring samples my teamies came up with. And hopefully you will join us this fortnight again! This would be a pleasure for us.
I will also link to Gill's popular June theme of
"Inspired by" over at Art Journal Journey. There are still several  days left to join in this challege if you want to be with us there. We have such fun and inspire each other so much within our community. It's simply amazing and always makes me so happy!
And I will join the weekly T-Stands-For-Tuesday link up with friends over at
to meet up with the T-Day friends where we always share something drink related in our posts each week.
Just once again my beloved black decaf  .

Thanks a lot for your lovely visit here!
Much LOVE from
Susi

  2. Oh Susi - this is gorgeous - you captured the sparrows perfectly! I love to watch sparrows and this is so much like their behaviour and stance...you go from strength to strength. Love the subtle colour, too - absolutely perfect :-)

Its good to know you have lots of these birds too as they were in decline here a few years ago - and I'm assuming doing much better now as we also have lots in our garden. Do you have 'Dunnocks' also?
Have a wonderful day dear Susi and as always thank you for the lovely comments you have left on my blog.

p.s. Thankyou for adding my last page to AJJ.
I still cannot get into it even to see what everyone one has been making.
I think it is the caravan site provider that is blocking it.
