2361*** FANTASY - Using up scraps and collected goodies

I have sorted out so many collected scraps and papers already, but it just seems that scraps have been secretly multiplying . I have stolen this term from Pearshapedcrafting Chris, thank you Chris now I know why they never run out!

But I will try to use some of the scraps and papers this month for Alison's theme of "GEOMETRIC SHAPES" over at
ART JOURNAL JOURNEY as this is the perfect reason to use little goodies and precious finds of paper.

On this page I just had fun with things from my big "hidden messy stuff basket waiting under the work desk for Susi " .

This is all precious material safed during my last major cleaning up - including  inspiring little gifts from friends, like the little leaf die cut  I unfortunately do not even know who sent it to me. The pretty blue handmade paper is from Elizabeth!
Arty friends are just the best - aren't they?!
What about using up some of your precious scraps for
Alison's theme of GEOMETRIC SHAPES at
We would be thrilled to see you at AJJ! You know how much we appreciate your support and inspirational entries!

Much
LOVE
from
Susi

  8. Oh Susi I am smiling that you have a box of multiplying bits and pieces as well, I think mine knows it is growing, as it overflows from the box.

  11. I have to say it so clean under your work table. I have too many boxes of stuff under mine I guess. (smile). I love your page. Cleaning up pages are so much fun to make and to see what bits you can use that work together. Your page came out super and I love all your leftovers you used to make it. Hope you have a fantastic weekend and get to keep some of those scraps from reproducing more. That was a great quote from Chris, wasn't it? Hugs-Erika

  13. Wow, Susi, you don't want to see all the scraps I have accumulated. I even have my scraps sorted by color! You have a small collection compared to mine. I adore your scraps page and I truly admire the hand sewing. It adds a certain charm machine sewing misses and lacks. I love this page and was so delighted to see you took time out of your busy schedule to create this masterpiece using Alison's theme at Art Journal Journey. This is truly mesmerizing.

  17. You've made great use of those multiplying scraps Susi, A wonderful way to display them. How many pages could be created this way if we were to use up it all? I do not think there is enough time on earth to use up all mine as they really do multiple by the day.
Your hidden scrap box under the desk is very tidy.
    Happy Saturday HUgs Tracey xx

  20. Just coming by on my weekly visit..
I have to be honest, geometric shapes is not something I easily relate to, but I think the way you have incorporated scraps into the theme of your page here is really cool and very creative! And oh those basketz of stuff and scraps we all have hiding away somewhere.... I think that is something we all can realte to....

Have a happy week Susi and have fun with your reorganisation! xxx

  21. A fabulous page Susi you've made great use of the scraps to create interest as well as texture to the page.
I think we're all trying to use up the old stuff - even if it's just to make room for the new items that keep appearing!
