Posting No. 2400

At Art Journal Journey we have fun with Halle's topic of

WORDS TO LIVE BY

and at TRY IT ON TUESDAY we start a new fortnightly topic which is:

IT'S A MAN'S WORLD

I tried to combine with  a spread meant for both challenges.

We would be happy to see you at both Challenge blogs!
You know how much we appreciate your participation!

Happy T-DAY to all the lovely TSFT girls!

I just enjoy grain coffee since caffeine does me not good.
I tested many different brands meanwhile and came up with two favourites .
Left is the instant type of grain coffee I favour and right is
pour over grain coffee I love.

For our new topic at MOO MANIA & MORE which starts
on 12th of June at 6. 00 a.m.MEZ
I have also a spread to share today.

HERE COMES THE SUN

is our next theme and we would LOVE to see you joining our challenge !

MUCH LOVE
FROM
SUSI

  2. I love the words you added to your first journal spread and all the fantastic texture layers. He looks a very handsome fellow as well.
The other pages look fantastic as well, here comes the sun is a good theme for this time of the year.
It was good to see your coffee choices as well.
    Happy T day wishes Susi.

  4. Wonderful art, Susi - great to see your 'partner in crime', too - he looks very handsome :-) Good to see tomorrow's MMM challenge, too - somebody needs to send some of that sun our way - it's freezing here and VERY wet, and has been since mid April - like Autumn all over again. It's a joyful page - filled with happy images and memories/intentions!
    Have a great week.

  5. Wow Susi, such amazing art! I love your man's world piece, the layers and texture look fabulous and oh that stitching is a wonderful addition too 😀. Your sun page is stunning too, you have captured the happiness of sunshine perfectly in the colours and images! I've never heard of grain coffee, I don't drink caffeine either so these would be good alternatives, now all I have to do is like coffee ...lol 😉. I hope you are keeping well, take care and wishing you a happy T Day and wonderful week! Jo x

  6. Wonderful art today Susi. I wonder, is that your husband's photo in the man piece? And how did the graduation go? I hope all went well and it was a good time. And the sun piece is fantastic. We have had a couple of gorgeous days but no sun today. It is raining, but the good news is I don't have to go water my plants. Happy T day too. Hugs-Erika

Hahahah

  8. LOVE it! So fun that you can combine challenges so seamlessly. I'm not a pre-planner so I don't often hit the mark on more than one.
    Happy T day!

  9. I like the words you used and the images you chose. They pair perfectly :)

I like coffee and caffeine doesn't bother me. I've never seen (or maybe just not noticed) grain "coffees" but I'll look for it. I'd be fun to try something a bit different.

    Happy T Tuesday!

  13. A fabulous masculine journal spread Susi, and your 'partner in crime' looks very handsome and I like the added quote. I love the sunny journal spread - especially the 'happy laughing sun' - although he's definitely hiding today.

  15. This is my second attempt to leave you a comment. I was by earlier and couldn't leave one. Blogger wouldn't accept it.

The spread you created where you included Art Journal Journey was PERFECT. It was brilliant and flawless. Great colors and attention to detail. Isn't it wonderful when you can combine challenges? You make it look so easy, dear friend and co-admin.

Your MM&M spread is wonderful, too. I really, really love the hand sewing you created. Of course, the heart spoke to me, too.

I've never heard of vegan coffee before, or grain coffee. However, if I don't get my caffeine, I'm useless, so I'm totally impressed you gave up caffeine so easily. Even cutting back for me doesn't help. I end up having splitting headaches that don't go away until I have caffeine. Even Advil doesn't help.

Thanks for sharing these incredible spreads AND your vegan coffees with us for T this Tuesday, dear friend. So glad you had time to visit.

  19. "It's a Man's World" - that's a tough one, Susi. I have to think about it a bit. You did a great a job!

I like "HERE COMES THE SUN," so maybe I'll try Moo Mania. I haven't even visited there yet. Does Moo Mania have anything to do with cows 😉?

    Happy T-day! Eileen xx

  27. Susi these pages are great I love them, your page for it's a man's world is wonderful I like it a lot because it's not the typical page or card you could see it for this idea and the second one is so colourful and full of textures.

I like coffee but I prefer tea, I'm always buying special kinds of tea, I cannot resit a hot cup or now with hot days a cold glass of tea. Hugs.

  28. Haha! Susi, your partner looks rather charming and has a lovely smile. I wonder if he is really your partner in crime? I see you have given him some black and orange kisses. Your pages are a great creation in orange and black.
Oh look at the sun, laughing its head off! This is such a joyful collage, speaking of brilliant gardens and happy holidays. Again I love the way you have used colour here. You are a collaging genius.

Makes me more excited when watching it

  35. Wow, there's a real drama to the Man's World page - it's hard to believe it's in such a small journal... it's definitely larger than life. Love the sunshine pages too - a great post altogether.

  40. Tolle Ausarbeitungen, liebe Susi.

    Wolfgang
