Post No. 2402 --------We’re all/going.

A new topic over at ART JOURNAL JOURNEY hosted by the wonderful Mixed Media Artist
Chris / Pearshapedchris is awaiting us.

We’re all/going.

is Chris' topic for us.

In other words the ‘going’ part is optional…you can let your imagination get to work! ‘We’re all happy, having fun, on holiday, in the pink, feeling blue, blooming…we’re all going…crazy, to the beach, park, cinema etc.

I just want to go back to when things were simple.
A spread in one of my journals.

Brewing a cup of Matcha at home is just simple. Though purists will say you need special tools.
I enjoy my Matcha without extras.
I love it!

Happy T-Day girls!

HAPPY NEW MONTH dear VISITORS!!!
I hope you all enjoy SUMMER!
I got some questions about how Liyongo is doing.
Thank you so much for asking - he does very well.
Our oldie enjoys even the summer.

Much
LOVE

Susi

  8. Your spread is superb. I love the simplicity of this spread, but also the neutrals and the nature aspect. I wanted to run through fields of lavender when I saw this. Genuinely gorgeous first entry this month for Chris's Art Journal Journey theme, dear friend and co-admin.

I've never had Matcha, so would love to join you. We could make it together and enjoy it, I'm sure. Thanks for sharing it with us for T this Tuesday.

BTW, it's wonderful news that Liyongo is doing so well. He has certainly pulled through, at least for now, and I know how happy that makes you and your husband.

  14. Your journal pages are beautiful, although maybe not simple, I think. They look quite complex and skilfully made with the surface and background, the shaded pinks and the lavender, the rusted stitched ring and the neutral fascinating colouring. I've said it before but I like how you show a crop of the final picture right at the start and it always looks like a complete and lovely work of art in itself.
I agree with you that it would be good to go back to Simplicity, a lovely idea but hard to do when there is so much going on. I will try it - soon!

  18. Such pretty art in your journal, as always. Gorgeous texture and you are a master of bold colors even in monochrome. I have never heard of that herb you made tea with - is it like green tea? And did you get a tan? I'm sure both your pups enjoy it when you hang with them. Happy second half of 2019 to you, too! <3 xoxox

  33. Stunning spread, Susi! You used my word of the year, so I love it even more. I've tried over and over to mimic your neutral palette. I won't say I've failed many times, but I've learned about 20 things not to do. 😉

    Happy T-day! Eileen xx
