  6. Well they’re by far the prettiest poinsettias I’ve seen Susi, I don’t know what it is that you’re meant to be baking but I suspect it’s yummy :)
    Donna xx

  7. Your painting is so lovely! I love the vibrant red and green.

  9. Such a pretty poinsettia, i'm so happy to see you making good use of your new inktense pencils. I'm sure you will find the time to bake and continue creating loveliness..
Warm Hugs and Wishes Tracey xx

  10. OK, I'm officially impressed. Not only did you create the most beautiful poinsettia I've seen drawn, you did it while planning to make those Christmas Vanillekipferl. Do you dip your ends in chocolate, or serve them plain?

Thanks for sharing this gorgeous plant with us for AJJ and thanks for sharing your coffee and water at T this Tuesday.

  11. Dein Weihnachtsstern ist toll geworden, liebe Susi! Meinen Tee trinke ich heute morgen aus einem rosafarbenen Becher, der Deinem sehr ähnelt. :)
    Herzliche Grüße

  12. So very pretty!
    Enjoy the cookies! :)

    Happy T Day!
    Bussi Rike

  15. I love your drawings with ink and the beautiful loose watercolours... amazing ! :) xx

  16. Nice! I love your poinsettia. They must be a very universal holiday plant which I didn't know. And I made some of those cookies that your husband loves. I think I am in his camp because they are very yummy. :) If you don't get to bake I hope you have a good art day though. Maybe some more poinsettias? Happy T day. Hugs-Erika

  17. Lovely art. I've been wondering about those pencils. I was given a set of Derwent colored pencils but they aren't "inktense" and I really haven't had great success with them. Maybe I'll try them agaiin.

  18. Well i think your poinsettias belong on a card Susi!! I have some inktense pencils i haven't played with enough too.. Happy T day Susi!! Hugs! deb

  19. What a lovely Inktense poinsettia portrait - I can imagine you're tempted to play all day with them! But Vanillekipferl are also important. I'll be baking mine some time later this week too.
    Alison x

  20. Good morning, your poinsettia is just beautiful-gorgeous to be in a frame I think and enjoyed.
enjoy your baking too Happy T Day Kathy

  21. What a beautiful poinsettia! And I love how your cup color coordinates :) Happy T Tuesday

  22. The way you are using these pencils is marvellous. It's a lovely drawing of a poinsettia and now I see you are using a water-brush - aha! must try this, thanks for the tip.
I love the pink mug too, it's just the right shade of pink.

  23. Such a beautiful poinsettia. I love the Inktense pencils. Would be hard trying to decide between playing with the art supplies or baking. Happy T Day.

  24. Fabulous poinsettia drawing! Great play with those inktense pencils!
I made my Kipferln today, using a recipe Alison sent me :o) Zimtsterne next ....

  25. I love your poinsettia painting and how you are able to represent things with just a few lines. That's a skill I don't have - yet ;-) - but I'm working on it. You do it beautifully.

    happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

  26. It is hard trying to find the time to fit in everything you want to do - including cooking. I love your art work Susi and if you don't mind, I am going to print this out and try copying it. It will be for my own personal use in trying to learn drawing and using water color. Please say yes as I would not do it without your permission.
I have not been on my blog lately as I seem to be caught up with other things among which is taking lessons in using colored pencils. It takes a lot of time when you are learning new techniques and practicing. Although I do not follow many people anymore, I love what you do so much and will always be watching.
    Merry Christmas!!
    Sandy xx

  29. Gorgeous poinsettia Susi!
May I ask, do you color on your paper first then add water, or water first? I have tried each way and sometimes I just take color right from my pencil to waterbrush to paper. Just checking to see what your stye is as well.
and I will be doing some baking this week as well, need to get cookies out to my sons! ")

    1. Thank you for your interest dear Jackie - I make it like you-
I just take color right from my pencil to waterbrush to paper.

  30. Such a beautiful painting Susi!
Hope you're having a lovely week,
    Alison xox

  31. great drawing! It really looks like The (i don't know the name in English. In Holland we call it) kersster! Well done!

  32. Is there anything happier than red? I don't think so, and this poinsettia just makes me smile!
