2277 ----- S P R I N G ----- and ----- Einstein

As you already know for sure our theme at
ART JOURNAL JOURNEY this March is
S P R I N G.

A spread in my blue Journal for Rosie's theme .
Well more than 100 entries again at the
 AJJ- Challenge Blog.

edit: to answer
I'm curious about the cut circles that spell out Spring.

This is babywipe colored once with rests of yellow acrylic color - and guess what ? I cut the circles  out  in a careless way, just like that and  am proud now when I see how perfectly circular they are--or maybe the green touch of pastel crayon made them look so nice and round..... who knows?!
 ***
You are amazing girls!! I just can't believe how  many artists always play at Art Journal Journey each month! It is so fun and interesting to see all the ideas and the clever techniques .
I learn so much from all the participants and get so much inspiration!  Thank you from the bottom of my heart !!

At TMTA Dani hase chosen
EINSTEIN for this week.
I had no desire to look through all my rubber stamps for an Einstein stamp - I even think I don't own any Einstein rubber stamp. I once sketched this above portrait on a spread - shown - HERE , but that didn't help me in any way now, I didn't want to sketch or paint Einstein again. I decided to just go with  a quote by Einstein this time for my TMTA - ATC.

You can't blame gravity for falling in LOVE.

The ATC was further processed onto a spread in my
ZEN -BALANCE- JOURNAL .
I used some dried rose petals from a bouquet my dear hubby gave me for Valentine's Day in February. I love to
dry flowers and leaves in the microwave oven.

Hope you enjoy this weekend!
Thank you very much for visiting me!

  8. Those tulips are amazing Susi. Using the cheesecloth makes a fantastic background and I love your painted flowers. Tulips are gorgeous. I can see why they are your favorite flowers.Love your Einstein quote and the older card too. Hope you are doing something fun this weekend. I am trying to decide what to do today. I really want to go walking-maybe the beach since the mud is so deep here. But better mud than snow. :) Happy weekend Susi. Hugs-Erika

  9. That's a gorgeous zen journal spread, Susi! The dried petals are beautiful and add so much to the overall feel. I sat staring at it for at least a minute and felt very zen indeed. So calming ... aaah.

The Einstein ATC is wonderful too - very clever take on a fascinating, amazing man. I like how you paraphrased his quote.

Spring - yay! Your tulips are lovely. I see lot of pretty dimension in the close up photo. That's a spread I'd love to run my fingers over.

    Beautiful work!!

  14. I'm curious about the cut circles that spell out Spring. They remind me of my handmade paper. I love the texture you created in this journal entry. The entire entry is incredibly well done, very romantic, and the pastel colors are perfect for the spring theme at Art Journal Journey.

I fell in LOVE with love of the Einstein quote. The idea of recycling the rose petals is also very romantic. Stunning on both fronts. Hope your day is going well. Mine is PURRFECT.

  24. Liebe Susi,

    Wolfgang
