2358 T Stands for 'TIS THE SEASON

I am such a lucky girl to have the most caring and loving friends  in blogland! I have to tell you  how grateful I am to have you all ! I don't want to miss this wonderful community of blogging people from all over the world. Even though I don't like they spend their money on postage for me and I rarely send out things by myself to others I am happy to be able to hold their wonderful art in my hands though!
This is such a special honour for me!

 Thank you my dear friends!!
I appreciate your thoughts and mail very much!

One envelope this morning  with the above shown goodies let my heart spring! I am now a proud owner of an
original "QUILTLET" of Elizabeth and I am impressed with the wonderful made tree "tip in" and the handmade papers! WOW!

I am simply in LOVE with this quiltlet !!!

This hybrid made spread meant for Elizabeth's December collection of pages at Art Journal Journey shows how
lucky I feel with my gift!
It should remind you also of the current TIOT Challenge of
Guess Who's Coming .....It's Santa
and the "Angel" theme over at MOO MANIA & MORE.

And last but not least:

HAPPY T-DAY!

Feel free to take cake or some Vanillekipferl or both.
No, I don't eat all this stuff..that's just made with all my love for my hubby who can eat what he wants, but don't gain weight.

Much
LOVE
from
Susi

  1. What a wonderful gifting of love sent your way dear Susi- and so deserved! I love that quiltlet from Elizabeth. Your digital art page is delightful! And like you, I love to bake but my hubby takes care of eating it all- unless our son and his girlfriend stop by:) Happy T day and a Merry Christmas!

  2. What wonderfully creative friends you have, Susi! You have received some very special, heartfelt mail.
And my husband can eat anything he wants, too. He eats like a teenage boy and never gains weight. It's not fair :(, but it's still fun to watch him eat my "creations."
    Happy Tuesday, Susi!

  3. What gorgeous, happy mail you received. I shouldn't, but maybe I'll have just one cookie. And maybe a sliver of cake. I'm jealous that your hubby can eat what he wants and not gain weight. Happy T Day!

I love how you used the image of it to create your background for those cute angels too - perfect! I'd also love to try the cookies and cake that you made, they look so yummy 😀. Wishing you a happy T Day and a very Merry Christmas dear Susi! J 😊 x

  7. What beautiful cards and gifts you received, Susi. The quiltlet is lovely and so very thoughtul. Elizabeth is such a dear.

I make Vanillekipferl every Christmas but didn't know them by the German word. We call them crescent cookies. I wonder how similar our recipes are. Everyone loves them.

Happy T-day and Merry Christmas! Eileen xoxo

I loved your journal page and how you added the falling snow animation.
If I didn't live so far away I would call in for a piece of your delicious cake, I'm sure your husband will enjoy every piece.
    Happy T day wishes Susi.

  11. I love your gratitude page, celebrating your luck at having all these lovely handmade cards and the delightful quiltlet from Elizabeth. Your husband is definitely very lucky if he can eat all that and not gain weight! I still have the Wienerkipferl to make, but the Stollen is safely done (a week ago). And the tree still to decorate, and the presents to wrap, and the food shopping to do... but we're getting there!

And to have such a wonderful baker to make it for him. :) And you are a lucky lady to get all that fantastic mail! And one of Elizabeth's beautiful quiltlets. 19. I see you also received a nice card from Linda. She is always so thoughtful.

I can't figure out what happened to the blue paper because it was intact when I placed it in the envelope. I also feel bad that the quiltlet was bunched up in the mail. You might be able to tell, this was the last piece I was able to make before my machine quit working. It's especially obvious around the heart, but I think that adds to the message "heal" which was intended for you and Liyongo.

I love what you did digitally to create a page for Art Journal Journey. This is beautiful and made me feel so proud, too.

Men have different metabolisms than women, so I am glad you are able to bake for your husband and he is able to eat all that without gaining weight. I'll definitely join you for tea, though. Thanks for sharing your wonderful baked goodies and tea with us for T this belated Wednesday.-

  21. Liebe Susi,

  32. So glad to see you being blessed by other bloggers - the cards and quiltlet are beautiful, and I love your grateful spread. Isn't it frustrating when the men can eat and never put on weight, and we only have to look at food and on it goes!
    Blessings

  35. You certainly have received some wonderful cards Susi, and like you I really appreciate all the online and blogging friends I have made over the years. Your digi page looks lovely too!

(I have probably missed quite a few of your posts, but I have decided I will only post on Fridays and visit on Sundays from now on, as, though I love seeing all the work that people create, I find blogger to be a too time consuming platform these days, sorry about that, I hope you understand)….
Have a wonderful Christmas and all the best for a creative and hopefully healthy 2019!

  37. You are a real treasure Susi so kind hearted with your words that is why people flock to give and send because you give so much comfort in kindness to others.
I seem to have missed a post of two of yours which saddens me as I love to visit and see what yo have been up to as it's always amazing, so I will keep my words to one post and say I hope Liyongo is doing well with the mistletoe? So worth those weekly visits to replenish those meds. Our pets mean so much to us.
Thank you for a wonderful year of support and friendship, you really have brightened a very dark year for me, maybe next year I too can send you a little something to say Thank YOU.
Wishing you, Hubby & family a wonderful Christmas and good health throughout the year.
Warmest of wishes and BIG Hugs Tracey xx
